Let's see. I had my 56th birthday on October 17th. Happy Birthday to me. So many things have been going on. On October 1st the weather changed. We flew over to the boat and started painting. Yippee. Then we got side tracked on different things. Harley wanted to work on winterizing the engine so we worked on that. That is done. Then he wanted to swap out the strainer, so we did that. Now that is done. Then I threw a wrench in the whole works.
After much consideration and constant harping from my rheumatologist and my primary care physician, I started the process to have WLS. Well, that spiralled very quickly and I now have a surgery date of November 2nd. I couldn't be happier. A healthier me. Who would complain about that. So, between now (October 20th) and November 2nd, it is the plan to finish painting. In between, I have to go get blood tests, x-rays, attend nutrition classes, etc. We can do this, right...RIGHT!!
Hopefully on my next visit, I'll be able to say that the painting is done. Weather's getting colder now. Tonight in the 40s and tomorrow in the 60s. I better go pull out some undershirts. Love this weather.
